Hello Friend

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout for Sketches In Thyme. I created this layout using their sketch and my layout is up on their blog today.
I used Fancy Pants True Friend for this page of Sierra and her BFF:

I used the packaging technique and watercolors on white cardstock for my background. I cut triangles by hand and added some stitching. I fussy cut the cute little squirrels and popped it up using foam tape:

I loved the tag and used that for my title. I added that cute mushroom that I popped up with foam tape and a flower behind it:

I added that cute "Nothing but good times when we are together" frame and another cute fussy cut squirrel:

Here are a few more triangles that I added along with a "happy" sticker tab:

Here is the sketch:

If you have time, we would love for you to play along!

You Are Here With ScraPerfect

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
Today I am sharing a layout I have up on the ScraPerfect Blog today.
I used Simple Stories You Are Here:

I used the Best Glue Ever and the No Clog Writing Cap to attach the frames and journal spot to the back of my photos. I used the Perfect Crafting Pouch and rubbed it over the top of my journal spot where I put too much glue and it seeped out. I was impressed that the stickiness of the glue was gone! How cool!
For my background, I added white Gesso.
Once it was dry, I added some watercolors using the packaging technique.

Here are a few more close ups:

I love this glue and the fine line of No Clog Writing Cap, it's perfect for adding just a bit of glue to small spaces like the teal arrow in the above photo.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Lisa

Purple & Green

Hey everyone!
There is a new challenge posted today over at Cards In Envy. The challenge:

Create a card that features the colors purple AND green. If you celebrate Halloween, a card for that holiday in those colors will be great BUT if you do not celebrate Halloween, create a card for any occasion as long as it is purple AND green.

I used Fancy pants Oct 31 and Rusty Pickle for this Halloween card:

I layered some papers and then added some stitching. I fussy cut the purple scallop border and the witches hat.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Witchcraft & Wizardry

Hey there!
Today on the Scraperfect blog, we have our second challenge for you to play along with!
The challenge is to create a Halloween card.
I used an older Echo Park Halloween line for this fun card:

I used the Best Glue Ever to hold the layers together on the card. Once it was dry, I added some stitching to the border. I added a thin line of the Best Glue Ever using the No Clog Writing Cap to the fussy cut Witchcraft and Wizardry diecut. Once the glue dried to a clear state, I placed the Orange Transfer Foil on top and rubbed it on the glue. Then I peeled the Transfer Foil off. I love the glitter goodness this added to my card! I used the Best Glue Ever to adhere my DCWV spider web and sentiment- "All Hallows Eve".
Thanks for stopping by and stay scrappy my friends!

Uncork

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
I have my first layout up on the ScraPerfect Blog today!
Here is the fun layout I created using the Best Glue Ever along with some Paper House products. I love the No Clog Writing Cap, it's perfect for adding just a small amount of glue in small spaces!

To create my sunburst background, I used a stencil and paint. Once it was dry I added some stitching and stamping. I used the Best Glue Ever to adhere pretty much everything to my layout, even the foam tape backed embellies. This way I can be sure they won't fall off.

I added some washi tape along with some Paper House stickers and some diecut hearts colored with a mist:

Here is a close up of the layers held together with the Best Glue Ever:

I added a bit of glue to the bottom of the grape leaf and curled it up to add some dimension to my layout:

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your day with me!

Go Your Own Way

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for my Wednesday stash challenge over at Creative Inspiration. My challenge is dig out an old collection or two and use some or all of it on your project.
I used Fancy Pants Collecting Moments and Memories Captured for this layout of Austin. One of the girls at school had posted this on Facebook and I grabbed it since Austin hates his picture taken.

I layered lots of papers and used lots of chipboard buttons and stickers on this page from both collections:

I added a chipboard clock and a ticket along with some of the mini alphas:

I added some stitching:

I also added a tag and a couple of frames:

It feels great to use up some of these old papers and embellies. I still have a lot more to use!

Thanks for stopping and have a great day!

October 1st Stuck?! Sketch

Hey there!
I am popping in real quick to share a Christmas layout I created using the October 1st sketch at Stuck?!
I used Cocoa Vanilla along with a few odd embellies and the Best Glue Ever from ScraPerfect. I love the fine line I get with the No Clog Writing Cap!

I used a Silhouette Scribble Circle cut file and stitched it in place. I added a hand cut pennant and banner. I also added a wood veneer Christmas tree:

For my title, I fussy cut the words "Very" and "Christmas" from the papers. I sprayed the chipboard word "merry" with October Afternoon mist and layered it with a fussy cut poinsettia and a MME chipboard button:

I added some more fussy cut poinsettias and some Simple Stories stickers:

Here is Laura's fun sketch:

Thanks for dropping by and have a great day!
