I am so excited to share my project today.
For my card I used the Kreaxions 4 in 1 punch # 921 along with the Kreaxion's Inner  and Outer Circle Stencil kit. I used my Circle Cutter to cut a 2 1/2" circle, marked my lines with the stencil and then punched using #921. I backed it with red patterned paper and added a doily to the center. I then used Kreaxions 4 in 1 Punch #918 with no insert and made a border.

I used the negative part for the border on my card and used the positive piece, backed it with yellow cardstock and stitched it to the envelope.

I used Suzann's recipe challenge at MSW for this card and envelope.

I will be giving away a RAK to one lucky person who leaves me a comment and is a follower of my blog.
Now off you go to  Lucy's blog.

DT Reveal at My Scraps & More

Hello and happy Thursday!
Yesterday was my design team reveal for May on the My Scraps & More Blog. This month Tammi sent us one of my favorite manufacturers, My Minds Eye. The line is called Lime Twist. These papers and embellishments are so fun and perfect for any kind of pages and cards! Tammi even has this line on sale!
Here are my layouts:

Here is a close-up of a new handmade flower I tried. I also used some scraps of paper I had trimmed off the journaling card, after I cut the scallops for the journaling card these cut away pieces curled and I had an AHAHa moment and decided to use them by my flower. Love the look and I recycled at the same time! You can find the tutorial HERE.

And I also made a card for my Mom, her birthday is in August:

We have the Mother May I Crop going on right now on the message board and you still have time to play. Would love to see your work in the gallery!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your day with me!

Inspiration Elevator

Welcome to Inspiration Elevator!
IE is a group of like minded scrappy friends who want to raise the bar in their own creative process through unique challenges that we issue to each other once a month. These won't be run of the mill challenges and we hope you will join us each month and be inspired by the innovative designs we create.
This is not a blog hop, and there are no prizes, but we would love it if you would take a few minutes to see what the rest of the Inspiration Elevator team created. We are sure you will feel inspired to get creative:

The first challenge, issued by Christa, is two-fold: to create a new design that reflects your style, and to use a new product or technique that you find inspiring right now.

I am honored  to be a part of Inspiration Elevator, (and isn't the name cool too?) a group of group of wonderful ladies taking their scrapbooking to the next level!

I am not really sure what my style is, but a layout or card of mine isn't complete  if it doesnt have stitching on it. I am also a big, big fan of  banners, pennants, twine and border punches, so I have included all of these on my page about my kids:

I am inspired by paint/ink spatterings and have been playing and trying to master this technique lately.

I would love if you would visit my other Inspiration Elevator blogger friends. They are so talented and sure to inspire you!

Happy Saturday!

Hello! Just wanted to share a card I made for my Mom for Mothers Day. One of my favorite Kreaxions tools is the star template, I just love to use doilies on my cards and layouts and this template is so easy and fun to use! I used the Kreaxions 4 in 1 Punch #921 to punch my doily and matching border.
Mom card (837x1024)

Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms out there!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your day with me!
